Job Description
As a Security Tech you will be a responsible and vigilant member of our team to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining a high visibility presence and preventing illegal or inappropriate actions. Able to handle confidential information. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. You will also have previous experience in security or law enforcement and prior medical training will be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Strictly adheres to Company values, policies, and management standards.
- Patrol and monitor the premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or danger.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
- Enforce rules and regulations of the property and report any violations or incidents.
- Assist visitors, contractors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
- Prepare and submit daily reports and logs of activities and incidents.
- Maintain and operate security equipment and systems, including CCTV, alarms, locks, etc.
- Lead and/or assist with random drug and alcohol testing and post-accident testing.
- Lead and/or assist with random vehicle searches as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
- Prior medical training preferred.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines and procedures for security operations.
- Ability to operate security equipment and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Requires valid driver’s license.
